At Leeds West Academy we recognise that every student is different and from time to time may need extra support to ensure that they reach their potential. The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Nurture Teams strive to ensure that no child’s education is limited by their needs. The needs of each student are met through bespoke intervention measures and appropriate information sharing with academy staff who can then tailor their work to the requirements of the young people.
