Attendance

At Leeds West Academy we believe the home-academy partnership is essential and will help our learners to achieve and succeed. Research going back many years has consistently told us, not surprisingly, that parents are the most important people in their children’s lives, and that their support for their children’s learning and development is crucial.

As a result, attendance at Leeds West Academy has improved year-on-year. We believe that every student should be known, valued and supported through robust tracking and support, promotion of attendance at all levels to ensure it is high profile throughout our community, and rewarding outstanding attendance.

Working together with students and the local community, we are very proud of the progress we have made to ensure that every student attends the academy and reaches their full potential. Let’s work together and ensure our young people continue to achieve and succeed.
