Year 7 rugby girls do themselves proud
On Thursday 12 May LWA entered two teams in the under 12’s Leeds girls tag rugby tournament.
The teams were made up of sixteen Year 7 girls, who took part in 16 games between them, winning two (one of which was an epic clash against each other!) and two draws. The girls played all the games with a fantastic attitude, exhibiting sportsmanship and respect to all their opponents. LWA was the only school represented with two teams.
Saffron (3 tries) and Megan (2 tries) were the star players – however as you can see from the picture below despite the results a great time was had by all. Well done girls!
