BTEC Students Learn to Mime
On Monday 11th October Year 12 and 13 BTEC students flexed their mime skills with an external Mime Coach
The students were treated to a session with American musician and performer Chip Kendall as part of their BTEC Mime unit. Embracing the techniques that were being taught, the students finished the day with performed group pieces set to one of Chip’s own songs.
Performing Arts teacher Mrs Hewitt was delighted with the progress that was made: ”The students listened attentively to Chip and gained valuable training that will help them with their grades. Their final performances were very impressive!”
Following the day the students have time to explore and develop their new skills in time for group and solo assessments at the end of the unit.
