Annual Production Tickets Go On Sale
The production follows the adventures of the naïve yet optimistic Charity, a dance hall hostess in 1960's New York.
We see the ups and downs of her tumultuous love-life as she bounces between the married Charlie, Vittorio the Italian movie star, and a claustrophobic tax accountant Oscar. Moving from the seedy Fandango Ballroom and smart Pompeii club through to a counter-culture 'church' and Coney Island fairground, the show is a vivid evocation of a changing brash, kitsch and glitzy modern America.
Originally choreographed by Bob Fosse with a witty script based on the book by Neil Simon, the musical features the popular songs 'Big Spender', 'Rhythm of Life' and 'Something Better than This'.
