Jane Tomlinson ‘Run for All’ event
On Sunday 4th July Leeds West Academy ran a water station at the Jane Tomlinson ‘Run for All’ event.
A team of staff, ably assisted by the LWA cheerleaders, ensured that the 10,000 runners in the race were well hydrated and supported during their run!
The event helps raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for local and national charities every year.
The cheerleaders looked fantastic in their new outfits and very kindly went down to the finishing line in Millennium Square after their duties at the water station had finished, to cheer competitors over the finishing line.
A huge thank you to all the staff that gave up their (very early!) Sunday morning to help out!
