Title: LWA Students try out student life at Cambridge University
Two LWA sixth form students recently took a trip to Cambridge to experience student life at one of the world's top universities.

Imran (12MHG), Sophie (12FMC), Tila (12MHG), Tavelah (12SHL), Tasha (12FMC) and Nathan (12SHL) were six of 300 lucky participants in the 2012 Cambridge University Students' Union Shadowing Scheme.  Both were teamed with current Cambridge University students, attending lectures, supervisions and social events to get a taste of what undergraduate life at the University is really like.

Sophie, who is interested in studying English at university, said that the scheme had changed her mind about Cambridge. 'It’s a beautiful place to be, full of some of the nicest people you can meet.'

Imran is interested in politics and psychology. He said, 'Before I came, I was a bit daunted by the academic side of things, but the teachers and lecturers are really down to earth.'

All came back with positive impressions and everyone at LWA wishes them the best of luck as they continue their studies!
