Thank you for taking an interest in Leeds West Academy. Our aim is to ensure that ‘every learner succeeds, is valued and makes a positive contribution.’ Our strong values underpin everything we do. We want our learners to be well rounded active citizens with the skills and creativity to adapt to their future environment in education, training and the workplace.
We believe that a good education is the passport to future success. The essential elements of a good education are high quality teaching, positive attitudes from learners, excellent attendance and strong partnerships between home and the academy. Alongside this, at Leeds West we offer an inspirational and innovative new learning environment. This vibrant and creative backdrop provides the context for the academy and its students to achieve outstanding results, building on the good progress already endorsed by Ofsted.
