Diversity and Citizenship

The Diversity and Citizenship Area is a very unique area of learning within the Academy because it caters for such a variety of pupils in such a variety of ways.  The Faculty Area offers opportunities in Physical Education, Modern Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Philosophy and Ethics and the combined Humanities. This teaching area strives on providing pupils with exciting, innovative ways of learning, incorporating many different learning styles. The ethos for this area is a ‘can do / opportunities for all’ ethos, as we encourage pupils to understand the wider parameters of life including healthy living, green world issues and politics/religions of the world today and much more.

These range from A Levels and BTEC at Key Stage 5, to GCSEs, BTECs and Entry Levels at Key Stage 4 and Entry Level or Short Course GCSEs at Year 9.
