Computer Weekly Focuses on LWA
This month Computer Weekly have focused on Leeds West Academy's leading IT infrastructure and its impact on teaching and learning in the 21st Century.
Computer Weekly's feature praises the latest digital technologies which the Academy has been pioneering since the opening of the new building in 2011. Leeds West Academy has established cutting-edge print systems, where students can release photo-quality prints from anywhere within the Academy. The Mulifunctional Devices, which are situated in each hub and level of the school, also provide high resolution scanning capabilities.
White Rose Academy Trust IT Service Manager, Richard Shaw, said: "With students and staff able to log-on at any device within seconds to release print and scan documents, there are no delays."
Writer and Software Marketing Manager Chris Hale added: "Students are enjoying a more engaging, interactive and collaborative learning environment where their familiar digital technologies are now at the heart of their educational experiences."
