Carols at KPMG

Christmas concert in Leeds City Centre

Leeds West Academy and Leeds East Academy joined musical forces this week to perform, for the second Christmas running, at KPMG's prestigious offices in Leeds.

KPMG is one of the largest Financial Services firms in Britain and is well-respected throughout the Leeds business community. The firm has been a long-term supporter of The White Rose Academies Trust through its corporate social responsibility programme, working at multiple levels with students to provide high-level accountancy work placements for Sixth Form @ LWA.

Ms Kurij said: "The students from both schools were outstanding and it was lovely to see the students supporting each other throughout the performances and as a part of the White Rose Academies Trust."

All the students, who comprised of Harry, Erin and Sarah, with Daniel and Georgina from Leeds East Academy, thanked the event staff and teachers for giving them the opportunity to perform at the event.

Erin said: "The atmosphere was great and it provided us with an experience where we can perform in front of lots of people."

We thank Mr Paylor, Ms Kurij and Mr Robinson from Leeds East Academy in supporting our students in this superb public performance.
