Blogs and Tweets for the NHS
Seven students from Leeds West Academy spent a day working with the communications team of Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, as part of the Children’s Commissioner’s Takeover Challenge.
The students assumed hands-on roles in the production of blog articles, live tweets and communications strategy.
Student Alex Clayton said: “We all really enjoyed the day, and it was interesting to see what happens behind the scenes in the NHS. We felt we made an impact, our ideas and feedback were appreciated and taken into consideration. A highlight for me was seeing our tweets go live and read by hundreds of people.”
