Blackpool Trip

Rewards for progress and achievement

Leeds West Academy students enjoyed a day in Blackpool as a reward for progress and achievement. This year's trip was the largest on record, with over 160 students spending a day enjoying Pleasure Beach with staff.

Despite the changeable weather and a brief breakdown of a minibus, spirits remained high as students enjoyed The Big One rollercoaster and won prizes on stalls.

Principal Mr Hinchliffe said: "This was the largest number we've ever had on a rewards trip, reflecting the outstanding work and progress made this year in the Academy. Well done to all involved and thank you to the staff who made it possible."
